As a Part-time Behavioural Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with diverse behavioural, emotional, and social needs
• Implementing personalised behaviour management plans, collaborating closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure a consistent approach
• Observing and documenting student progress, offering regular feedback to the wider team
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute to the development and review of support strategies
• Assisting with the facilitation of therapeutic activities, such as social skills groups or emotional regulation workshops
• Promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and self-regulation
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to relevant policies and procedures

• A genuine passion for supporting individuals with special educational needs and disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with students, families, and colleagues

• A relevant qualification in education, psychology, social work, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in a similar SEND support role, preferably within an educational setting
