Description: Ongoing General Urology Locums - Block Scheduling in the Pacific Northwest
Practice Setting
- Combination of clinic and call coverage at a single medical center.
- Excellent support staff: 2 RNs, 2 front office staff, MA, and Surgery Scheduler.
- Hospitalist team handles all admissions.
- Typical patient volume: 20-25 patients per day in clinic.
Schedule
- Flexible Block Scheduling
- Minimum commitment of 3 months locums coverage.
- Shift-Based Schedule: Clinic (8a-4p), Night Call (5p-8a), and 24-hour Call (7a-7a).
- Rotation includes minimum of 5-6 days of call plus clinic per month.
Procedures and Cases
- Scope of duties is general urology, covering bread and butter procedures.
- High surgical volume: 20-30 cases per month.
- Procedures include Cystoscopy, TURP, vasectomy, prostate biopsy, Ureteroscopy, and ESWL.
- Robotics available on site for those comfortable, but robotic procedures are not required.
Requirements
- Must be a Board Certified/Eligible Urologist.
- Minimum of 3 months locums coverage commitment.
- Must be experienced in high-volume, general urology care.
- Agreement to the terms of the patient volumes and practice setting.
