Description: - Start: ASAP ongoing
- End: Ongoing, Long-term vacancy/permanent search
- Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM no call
- Preferred pattern: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- Setting: Outpatient; 3 exam/procedure rooms
- Support staff: 2 MAs (no RN, no PA/NP, no additional office staff)
- Mix: Clinic and surgeries, no call
- Must-do: Cataract surgery and intravitreal injections
- Required skills span:
- Non-surgical and laser procedures (cryotherapy, laser, YAG, anterior/posterior segment)
- Surgical anterior segment (cataract removal, phaco, ECCE/ICCE with IOL, glaucoma, corneal, lamellar keratectomy, transplant, LASIK/PRK)
- Posterior segment (vitreo-retinal procedures, intra-ocular injections, strabismus, plastics/orbit)
- Imaging interpretation: A/B-scan, photos, fluorescein angiography, OCT
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:
- License: MI or IMLC
- Board Certification: Required, must be in Ophthalmology
- Required certs: BLS
- EMR: EPIC
