Description: Facility in Richmond, VA seeking ObGyn locums coverageOpportunity HighlightsDuration: May 1, 2026 August 31, 2026.Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Office) plus shared call.Call Requirements: 24-hour shifts (weekday and weekend) with a 1:4 rotation.Support: 1-on-1 clinical support (CMA, LPN, or RN); onsite Lab and Ultrasound with seasoned technicians.Team: 4 Physicians (including locum), 5 Midwives, and 5 APPs.EMR: Epic.Clinical Scope & VolumeOffice Volume: 2530 scheduled patients per day.Practice Mix: 90% Low Risk / 10% High Risk Pregnancy; 20% GYN.Surgery: 14 GYN surgeries per day (provider preference).Facility Features: NICU Level III on-site and Level II Trauma Center designation.Required ProceduresObstetrics & Labor/Delivery:FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) and OB Ultrasound interpretation.Routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps, and C-sections.Complicated deliveries (Breech, multiple births, abruptions).VBACs and repair of 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations.Gynecology:Office/Minor: IUD insertion, Colposcopy, Cystoscopy, Cryosurgery, and LEEP.Surgical: Open and Laparoscopic (Tubal ligation, LOAs, Chromal tubation, Ectopic pregnancy, Cystectomy).Provider RequirementsBoard Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.Licensure: Active Virginia (VA) license (or willing to obtain).Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS.Logistics: Provider must be LOCAL.
