Position: Histotechnologist/Histotechnician |
Description: Our client in Western Texas is seeking a full-time permanent Histotechnician or Histotechnologist to join their state-of-the-art laboratory. Interested candidates must have recent laboratory experience and be ASCP certified as a Hisotechnician/Histotechnologist to be considered for this role. Responsibilities of the Histotechnologist/Histotechnician (HT/HTL)
- Perform histological procedures such as, cutting, embedding, grossing, etc.
- Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures.
- Comfortable in a high-volume setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
Requirements of the Histotechnologist/Histotechnician (HT/HTL)
- ASCP certified
- AS or BS Degree in Histotechnology preferred
- Comfortable working in all areas of the lab.
