Job Description: Central Sterile/Supply Supervisor

We are currently seeking a full-time Central Sterile/Supply Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Central Sterile Department. This role requires effective leadership to ensure patient safety, infection control, and efficient equipment reprocessing and availability.

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Burlington, VT

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily departmental workflows, including decontamination, prep and pack, sterilization, endoscopy, inventory management, and case pick functions.
• Manage the technical activities of all departmental employees supporting the reprocessing of medical and surgical equipment.
• Ensure items are assembled in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Actively manage infection control processes, sterility assurance, and equipment/instrumentation availability to ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate and direct daily activities to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required (Associate s Degree preferred).
• Minimum five years of experience in central sterile, with at least two years of leadership experience preferred.
• Certification in Registered Central Service Technician (CRSCT) and Endoscope Preprocessor (CER) required.
