Description:
We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive SEND primary school in Bury, which is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The school provides specialist support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and complex communication needs. In this full-time role, you will work with pupils across Key Stage 1 (ages 5-7) and Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11), supporting both their academic development and social-emotional growth. You will play a key role in building positive relationships with pupils while delivering one-to-one and small group support, helping to create an environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to reach their potential. This position is ideal for someone who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs, with strong communication skills and a creative approach to engagement.
