Locum OB/GYN Physician Needed Danville, IL (Winter )
Ascend Medical Staffing is partnering with a system in central Illinois to find a dedicated Locum OB/GYN Physician for their outpatient service line at their Danville Medical Office. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential coverage during an FMLA leave, from December 2025 through February 2026.
Opportunity Highlights:
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. No call or weekends!
Patient Volume: Approximately 15-18 patients per day.
Procedures: EMB, Colposcopies, IUD & Nexplanon insertion.
Support Staff: Work alongside 2 APRNs, 2 RNs, 2-3 CMAs, and visiting midwifery services.
Compensation: $350/hour, with expenses and occurrence-form malpractice coverage provided.
Credentialing: Approximately 60 days to credential.
Requirements:
Board Certification: MD or DO, BC/BE in OB/GYN. If Board Eligible, you must be less than 2 years out of training and have not previously failed boards.
Licensure: Actively licensed in Illinois is highly preferred. Candidates with an IMLC LOQ (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification) in hand will be considered.
Compliance: Must provide vaccination records, a negative drug screening, and complete a physical within 90 days of the start date (per Health Attestation Form).
