Description: Description:
A wax assembly operator is a skilled technician responsible for creating and assembling wax patterns used in the investment casting process.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and senior managers, as well as employees. Ability to operate a computer and secure information from established data processing, spreadsheet, word processing, database and graphics programs. Ability to express ideas and communicate orally and in writing. Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. American Sign Language or Braille may also be considered as acceptable forms of communication Understanding of applicable plant equipment and production process. High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred LANGUAGE SKILLS

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to one hundred (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to be walking or standing for up to twelve (12) hours.
