NEW Pathologists Assistant Full-Time Day Shift

We are seeking a full-time Pathologists Assistant to join a busy clinical laboratory team on a day shift schedule. This role performs gross examination, dictation, and dissection of simple to complex surgical and autopsy specimens, working under laboratory leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Gross examination and dissection of surgical and postmortem specimens

• Accurate specimen documentation and gross photography as needed

• Maintain SOPs, inventory, and quality standards in the gross room/morgue

• Participate in call rotation as needed

• Assist with training and general laboratory operations

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Pathologists Assistant training program

• NYS Pathologists Assistant license (or ability to obtain within 1 year)

• Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills

Preferred

• NAACLS-accredited PA program graduate

• ASCP certification

Compensation

• 
  $88k $140k annually
  

• Full-time, non-union, day shift schedule
