St. Joseph's Health Hospital is seeking a Locum Cardiovascular Surgery PA to start as soon as credentialed for an ongoing assignment!

Dates of Coverage: 2/1/26-5/1/26 Schedule (Shifts/Hours): M-F

Reason for Coverage: Paternity leave Practice Setting: Hospital Cardiac surgery, Operating room mostly with some ICU/floor coverage Call Schedule: Varies 1-2 evenings a week, Operating call from home Call Ratio: 1/week Average Number of Patients Per Day: Varies Documentation System/EMR: Epic Trauma Level/Designation: Level 2 Will APP be Working Autonomously? No Supervising Physician Present During Assignment?: Dr Charles Lutz Patient Age Demographic: Adult Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 1 month Facility will reimburse the following costs: Hotel, Flight, Rental Car

Required Duties:

Chest Tube Insertions

Retrieval of Vascular Tissues for Use as a Bypass Conduit

OR 1st assist

Requirements

NCCPA

Active NY State License

BLS & ACLS

Must have cardiac surgery operating experience, 1st assist, vein harvest etc.

Robotic experience a plus
