12-Hour Shifts 10AM 10PM 3 Days/Week with Rotating Weekends & Holidays
Client in Williston, ND is seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to join their Emergency Department team on a locum basis. This Level 4 Trauma Center handles approximately 45 ER patients per day and offers full nursing support, collaborative care, and a manageable patient volume. Job Details:
Setting: Emergency Department
Facility Type: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
Shift: 10 AM 10 PM 12-hour shifts 3 shifts/week
Start Date: August 20 + ongoing
Patient Volume: 45 ER visits/day
Support: Full nursing staff; 1 MD on-site 24/7
EMR: Meditech
Trauma Level: IV
️ Responsibilities:
Treat and evaluate patients presenting to the ED
Provide standard emergency care in a collaborative setting
Manage a range of adolescent to geriatric cases
No admissions (hospitalists handle those)
Requirements:
Board Certified NP Required
Active ND License & ND DEA Required
Certifications: ACLS, TNCC, PALS, BLS Required
Clean background/malpractice Preferred
