Description: Join Our Team as a Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientist DAYS! Are you a dedicated laboratory professional seeking an exciting travel opportunity? We are looking for a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team on a travel assignment. This full-time DAYS position offers a chance to expand your expertise, work in diverse settings, and enjoy competitive compensation. Required Skills: Certification as MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from recognized agencies such as ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS. Valid Louisiana State Licensure. Current certification if expired, with maintained validity. Proficiency in performing routine and complex laboratory procedures. Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instruments. Familiarity with laboratory information systems. Ability to accurately process and handle patient specimens. Knowledge of quality control protocols and regulatory compliance. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Nice to Have Skills: Experience in cross-training across different laboratory sections. Phlebotomy skills and patient-oriented tasks. Experience with developing or updating laboratory procedures. Strong problem-solving abilities for instrument troubleshooting. Previous travel laboratory experience. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in biological, chemical, or clinical laboratory sciences from an accredited institution. Up to one year of approved clinical laboratory experience, including rotations in blood banking, microbiology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and urinalysis. New graduates who are certified or eligible for certification within one year are encouraged to apply. Other Requirements: Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off; Wednesday Tuesday shifts (Wednesday-Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM; Saturday-Tuesday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM). Travel flexibility, with reimbursement for related expenses when applicable. Start date: 02/23/2026. Must meet all compliance, regulatory, and safety standards.
