Description: Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant Clinic (Days) Location: Golden Valley, MN Employment Type: Full-Time Perm Shift: Day Hours Salary Range: $22.23 $27.37 per hour (commensurate with experience) About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinic team, supporting a diverse patient population across all age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The CMA will play a vital role in facilitating smooth patient flow, assisting providers in delivering quality care, and ensuring an efficient clinic environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage patient flow throughout the clinic, from check-in to check-out, ensuring a seamless experience. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting patient information. Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed by providers, adhering to safety protocols. Perform laboratory specimen collection and assist with clinical testing procedures. Support communication efforts within the team, including relaying updates and addressing patient questions. Manage telephone support, prescription refills, and facilitate communication between patients and providers. Assist with administrative duties such as ordering and stocking supplies, and supporting prior authorization processes. If qualified, operate X-ray equipment following proper protocols and pass required certification exams. Perform additional clerical duties, including check-in procedures, at the front desk as needed. Qualifications & Certifications: Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Prior clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and organizational skills.
