Position: Multi-Modality Technologist Needed in the Largo FL area


Description:


Job Responsibilities


As a Multi-Modality Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services across two or more modalities, including CT and X-ray. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with precision, autonomy, and professionalism.
  • Operating CT, X-ray, and other imaging equipment safely and effectively, following proper protocols.
  • Ensuring exams are properly documented and submitted for interpretation.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including exam rooms and equipment.
  • Demonstrating flexibility, empathy, and clear communication in patient interactions.
  • Monitoring and restocking supplies; coordinating with staff to ensure readiness for exams.
  • Staying up to date with new imaging techniques and participating in ongoing professional development.
  • Assisting with imaging-related administrative tasks such as authorizations or accreditation processes when needed.
  • Supporting the team and management with scheduling, reporting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and safety standards.






Minimum Qualifications


Education & Credentials:


  • Associate's degree or higher from an accredited radiologic technology program.

  • Active ARRT(R)(CT) certification required.
  • Valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Current BLS certification.





Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient diagnostic facility or hospital setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic protocols.





Skills & Attributes:


  • Proficient in the use of CT, X-ray, and DEXA imaging equipment.
  • Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.





Compensation & Benefits


  • Schedule: Full-time position, Monday-Friday with every other weekend coverage required (schedule provided in advance), plus occasional flexibility as needed.
