Description:
Shift:
- 8A 8P in-house + 8P 8A beeper call
- 1 2 weeks/month (minimum 1 week) Ongoing 9 12 months
Assignment Details:
- Setting: Inpatient only
- Volume: patients/day + 5 procedures
- Support: 1 PA/NP (supervision required)
- EMR: Epic
- License: OK or IMLC accepted
Requirements:
- Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology (ACGME/AOA)
- Board Certified / Eligible in Gastroenterology
- ERCP Experience: 200+ therapeutic, 40 sphincterotomies, 10 stent placements (past 12 months or recent grad)
- Certifications: ACLS required
- Credentialing: 60 days
Procedural Skills:
- Required: Upper/Lower GI endoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic), EUS, PEG, liver biopsy, GI bleed management.
- Preferred: Small bowel biopsy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy.
