Locums - OB Physician Need in the Beautiful Athens, OH!


Athens, Ohio is located in the Eastern part of the state, flanking Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh is just over the state line) and Northern West Virginia and less than 2 hours East of Columbus, OH.




Start Date:
ASAP - Pending Credentialing


Shift:
Varied - 24-hour in house coverage with weekend requirements. (Flexible scheduling to create work/life balance for you)




Our experienced, board-eligible or board-certified OB Hospitalists provide OB triage, admissions inpatient care, and delivery for hospitalized patients. This cost-effective, cohesive approach improves clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.


  • Collaboration with community OBs in a highly supportive and cohesive group

  • Ensure continuity, quality and safety

  • Real-time communication with office physicians of triage visits, new issues and deliveries

  • Improved outcomes, enhanced experience and reduced costs

  • Multidisciplinary OB critical care

  • 24-hour in house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies

  • Management of OB/GYN ER patients





Requirements




  • Board Certified in OB/GYN

  • OH License Preferred or Active IMLC

  • Minimum of 1-year recent clinical experience
