Description: Emergency Medicine Physician Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Emergency Medicine Physician, providing critical care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working within a supportive, patient-centered facility. As a key provider in the Emergency Department, you will oversee high-volume patient care during 12-hour shifts and contribute to life-saving services with a dedicated and professional team. Required Skills: Valid medical license in the state of practice Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine Proven experience in emergency department settings Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in Meditech 6.1 Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience with ICU management Additional certifications such as ACLS, ATLS, PALS Familiarity with hospital-based APTS housing Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution At least 2 years of emergency medicine experience Enrolled in NC Medicaid and PECOS at the time of application Other Requirements: Travel reimbursements capped at $500 Ability to work 12-hour, solo emergency room shifts Commitment to high-quality patient care and safety standards This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in a supportive environment with competitive compensation.
