Position: Pediatric - Radiology Physician


Description:

We are seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Radiologist for a hospital-based locum tenens opportunity. This role involves a combination of onsite, remote, and call coverage at a high-volume pediatric facility.

Key Details:



  • Setting: Hospital-based





  • Call Coverage: 24/7 (rotational schedule) - 12 hour shifts day and night with weekend call





  • Trauma Level: Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center





  • Annual Imaging Volume: 80,000+ studies





  • EMR: EPIC





  • Patient Demographic: Ages 0 21



️ Support Model:


  • Standard radiology support staff onsite





  • Night coverage managed by teleradiology (vRad)




    • On-call radiologist provides backup in case of delays





Work Structure:



  • Diagnostic reads may be performed remotely




  • Onsite presence required for specific hours during daytime coverage

  • MRI: Basic neuro, brain, spine, musculoskeletal (MSK)




  • Mammography
