Description: Locum Radiologist Body Imaging Loyola Medicine (Chicago, IL Area)
Loyola University Medical Center, along with Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and MacNeal Hospital, is seeking a Locum Radiologist with Body Imaging training or strong experience to support its hospital-based practice. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed while recruitment is underway for a permanent position.
Highlights:
Location: Based at Loyola University Medical Center (Maywood, IL); reads for LUMC, GMH, and MNH
Remote Option: Open to remote readers with appropriate experience
Practice Setting: Hospital-based; mix of academic and community hospitals
Trauma Levels: LUMC (Level I), GMH & MNH (Level II)
Case Mix: CTs, 100 X-rays, or 60 ultrasounds per day (rotation dependent)
Call: Negotiable
Procedures: CT, Ultrasound, Body MRI
Systems Used: Epic, PowerScribe, Intelerad PACS, Softek Illuminate
Radiologist Team: 40 FTEs (9 reading CT, 4 reading body MR)
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 3 months
Requirements:
Board Certification (ABR or AOBR)
Active Illinois Medical License
BLS Certification
Fellowship in Body Imaging Preferred
Compensation & Travel:
Travel (flight, hotel, rental car, mileage) covered for onsite locums
Local providers are reimbursed for parking only
