Description: Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to provide services at multiple correctional facility in Virginia.
Summary:

- LPN (Night Shift)
- Week 1: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and 1 x 4-hour shift
- Week 2: 2 x 12-hour shifts and 2 x 8-hour shifts (includes every other weekend)
- LPN (Evening Shift)
- Weekdays: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM / 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Day Shift (Every 3rd Weekend): 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Rate: $26-$32.40/hr (Pay rate will be determined by the facility based on qualifications and experience)
Requirements:
- Active Virginia license
- CPR Certification
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.
- Record patients medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients condition.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients responses and conditions.
- Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
- Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition.
- Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned by facility.
