Position Details:
Patient Population: Women (OB & GYN) Average 1.6 deliveries/admissions per day, 600 deliveries per year
Setting: Hospital Labor & Delivery, OR, ER (OB/GYN cases)
Responsibilities: Delivery attendance, C-sections, OB/GYN complications, emergent OB/GYN cases in ER
Required Procedures: Vaginal Deliveries, C-Sections, Ectopic Pregnancies, D&C, Laparoscopy
EMR System: Meditech
Support Staff: Level II Nursery & Nurses, Labor Nurses, FM w/OB and Surgical Tech call rotation for C-section assists; OB/GYNs from facility or nearby if available
Days Per Month: 7 Days per month
On-Call/Weekends: 24-Hour On Call, includes weekends and holidays as scheduled
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible Board Certified preferred
Active North Dakota license by October 1 Required (IMLC accepted)
ACLS, PALS, DEA, NRP Required
Clean malpractice history preferred
Available at time of name clear Required
