Neurocritical Care Physician

We are urgently hiring a neurocritical care physician for ongoing locums coverage in central New Jersey! This is an urgent need, and we can get someone credentialed by 10/1.

Provider must have NJ license and clean file for quick credentialing.

Provider will be covering a 15 bed neurocritical care unit, supervising APPs who provide 24/7 onsite coverage. Physician is expected to round daily on all service patients, write consult notes, provide 24/7 coverage. Provider will only be onsite for a portion of the day, with availability by phone thereafter and call back in extreme situations.

Bedside procedures: CVC placement, arterial catheterization, lumbar puncture 7 day, 24 hours per day coverage, if possible.

The ideal schedule is 7 days on, every 3 weeks. Monday 8am - Monday 8am.

Patient Load: 10 - 20 patients per day.

Required:

• BC/BE completion of fellowship training with board Certification/Eligibility in Neurocritical Care through the ABPN, UCNS and/or CAST.


• Clean and clear file for quick credentialing process


• Must have NJ License at time of application
