Position: Family Practice - Without OB Physician |
Description: Job Overview: Full-time Internist needed for a GME Continuity Clinic in Southeast Alabama.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive Internal Medicine services to patients in the Graduate Medical Education Continuity Clinic.
- Supervise and mentor residents and medical students in clinical settings, fostering their professional development.
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
- Participate in educational activities, including lectures, case discussions, and scholarly pursuits.
- Stay current on evidence-based practices and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.
- Average 13-16 New residents per year.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Alabama.
- Previous experience in Graduate Medical Education preferred.
- Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring medical professionals.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to healthcare.
