Description: Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist Opportunity in New Jersey
We are actively seeking experienced physicians to provide GI hospitalist coverage on weekdays and weekends with a work-life-friendly schedule and no night call during the week!
Opportunity Highlights:
- Flexible scheduling
- Weekday shifts: 7am - 5pm (no night call!)
- Weekend shifts: 7am - 5pm with Pager call overnight
- Weekend call schedule available (Friday - Monday)
Procedures Required:
- EGD & Colonoscopy - No need for ERCP or EUS (advanced endoscopists handle these)
Patient Load & Support Staff:
- 25 - 35 patients per day
- Weekday coverage includes an APN for support
- No mid-level support on weekends
Long-Term Need:
- Immediate coverage needed October 2025 - into 2026
- Consistent scheduling available for the right provider.
