Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Palm Health Resources is hiring an Emergency Medicine Physician for a full-time permanent opportunity right outside beautiful Beauford, SC!

This small hospital boast a very modern facility with fully equipped lab and imaging departments, ICU and inpatient medical care. We have a newly constructed Emergency Department with 16 rooms including 2-3 fast track rooms, as well as a behavioral treatment area. Currently we have 1 physician on each shift, this will soon be accompanied by Nurse practitioners as our new wing opens completely. We are a stroke certified facility, with strong affiliations with Medical University of South Carolina.

Position Highlights:

• 12-hour shifts, some 24 hour shifts possible.


• No call, except for in emergency situations such as natural disasters.


• Currently average about 30-32 visits per day, but expect that to increase with the new facility.


• 10-12% of visits are admitted to the hospital.
