A facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.

Visalia, CA, offers a beautiful outdoor experience. You don't want to miss exploring the nearby Sequoia National Forest and Sequoia National Monument!

The facility offers 24-hour shifts with hospitalists providing GYN coverage but not required to perform circumcisions or first assist, as first assist is typically handled by midwives, residents, or the group. The NICU is Level I, with an average of 200 total hospital deliveries per month and approximately 25 deliveries handled by hospitalists monthly. Hospitalists are not required to back up midwives but do provide backup for family practice. Additional OB/GYN ED call backup is also available to support hospitalists.
