Seeking a Locum Gastroenterologist to provide inpatient coverage. Coverage Dates Schedule Practice Details
Inpatient coverage only (no outreach, no telehealth)
Average daily census: patients (APP support for rounding)
1 physician and 2 APPs in practice
No supervision of APPs required
EMR: Epic
Services include: Colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP
On-site medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy available
Travel Reimbursement
Flight (capped)
Lodging (capped; preferred hotel available)
Rental car (capped; preferred vendors available)
Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
Requirements
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship) in Gastroenterology
Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology
Active Iowa license or IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)
Must be experienced
Must be proficient in EUS and ERCP
Must be available for June coverage (required at name clear)
Clean malpractice and background history
