Description: Mechanic on Vans (Motorhomes) not Cars You must be a fully qualified mechanic with certification to apply for this role You must have a driving license to apply for this role You must be confident with electrical fault finding issues within the cab and motorhome lighting circuits to apply for this role Webbs Motorcaravans Ltd is a family business with over 40 years experience within the Motorhome industry our website can be viewed here The mechanic position offers a contract for a 40 hour week Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm, 8 hours a day shift with half hour lunch break, as well as set tea breaks Saturday mornings 8.30am - 12.30pm on a one in three basis Overtime is available on weekdays and on Saturday mornings at a 'time and a half rate' - this is in addition to the advertised salary. You must be a fully qualified mechanic with certification and have driving license to apply for this role Duties and responsibilities are as follows: Pre-delivery inspection of the mechanic side of motorhomes including the cab area. Working from a set template booklet. Mechanical repairs to the motorhomes base vehicle Electrical fault finding and fixing any electrical issue within the wiring of the motorhome and engine related harnesses. Replacing brakes & discs, callipers, shock absorbers etc is essential Small and Large Engine Services on vans (not cars) Air con re-gassing (if qualified - Course will be provided if not) Fault finding and diagnostics, must be able to use a diagnostics tool, ours is a Autel Experience working on Fiat / Peugeot / Transit / VW vans preferred but not essential The candidates experience within the Caravan & Motorhome Industry is also preferred but not essential Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ss30,000.00-ss40,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension Employee discount Experience: Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (required) Vehicle & Engine Maintenance & Repair Occupations: 5 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: City & Guilds Automotive (required) Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person |
