Job Overview
A mission-driven community health organization in Brawley, California is seeking a Staff Physician to deliver high-quality outpatient medical care in a collaborative, team-based environment. This role focuses on comprehensive primary care services for a diverse patient population, emphasizing continuity of care, chronic disease management, and preventive medicine.

Working closely with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and interdisciplinary care teams, the Staff Physician plays a vital role in supporting patient-centered medical home (PCMH) principles, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance efforts.

Schedule & Setting

Full-time, exempt position
Outpatient clinic setting
Monday Friday schedule (with flexibility as needed)
Rotates between clinic locations as required
Community-based, patient-centered medical home model

What You ll Do

Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
Manage acute and chronic conditions with a focus on long-term health outcomes
Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation
Coordinate care with specialists and arrange referrals as needed
Participate in daily team huddles and interdisciplinary meetings
Support audits and compliance with state and federal regulations
Serve as a preceptor for medical students and NP/PA students when requested
Collaborate with nursing leadership to implement clinical policies and PCMH workflows
Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as assigned
