Location: Exeter Hours: Full-time, Term Time Only Daily Rate: ss85-ss95
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Exeter is looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role offers the chance to make a real difference by providing 1:1 and small group support to children with a variety of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and speech & language delays. Responsibilities -
Supporting pupils with EHCPs in the classroom and during transitions -
Assisting the class teacher by adapting lesson content to individual needs -
Supporting communication strategies and social skill development -
Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress and behaviour -
Creating a calm, positive, and nurturing learning environment Requirements -
Experience supporting children with SEN (formal or informal) -
Patient, calm, and positive approach -
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset -
