Description: Job Summary The Concrete Mixer and Dump Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of concrete mixer trucks and dump trucks to deliver ready-mix concrete, aggregate, and related materials to job sites and customer locations. This position requires strict adherence to safety standards, DOT regulations, and company policies while maintaining high standards of customer service and equipment care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate concrete mixer trucks and dump trucks in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, state, and company regulations Deliver ready-mix concrete, aggregate, and construction materials to designated job sites and customers Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections; document and report any mechanical or safety issues Operate mixer controls, chutes, dump beds, tarps, and other auxiliary equipment as required Accurately complete delivery tickets, timecards, driver logs, and other required documentation Communicate with dispatch, and job site supervisors regarding delivery times and job requirements Maintain proper concrete slump, washout procedures, and chute cleanliness in accordance with environmental and company standards Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight restrictions Maintain cleanliness and general condition of assigned equipment Follow all safety policies, including PPE requirements and job site safety rules Immediately report accidents, spills, damage, or safety incidents Qualifications Valid Class A and/or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Current DOT medical certificate Acceptable driving record per company and insurance requirements Knowledge of concrete delivery procedures and construction job site safety Ability to operate manual and/or automatic transmission vehicles Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Physical Requirements Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs multiple times per shift Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel as required on job sites Work Environment Work performed at batch plants, job sites, quarries, and roadways Exposure to dust, noise, traffic, wet concrete, and uneven terrain Early mornings, extended hours, weekends, and overtime may be required during peak season Preferred Experience Previous experience operating concrete mixer trucks and/or dump trucks Knowledge and experience in construction, aggregate, or ready-mix concrete procedures and operations Familiarity with job site signaling and backing procedures Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly wages based on experience Overtime in accordance with state and federal law Benefits include 100% company paid health, dental and vision insurance, and retirement plan for employee and family members.
