Position: Cardiology - Interventional Physician |
Description: As the Kansas City VA Medical Center continues to grow, we are excited to welcome a motivated Interventional Cardiologist to our team in Kansas City.

The position is an appointment based at the Kansas City VA Medical Center and surrounding Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC's) within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. A summary of the broad distribution of time/effort is as follows:
- VA Cath Lab and inpatient interventional consults.
- Supervision of general and Interventional Cardiology fellow on the VA IC cardiology rotation.
- VA interventional clinic patients with fellows/APP, as needed.
- Expectation of adequate number of Caths per year and PCIs per year.
- Read TEE/TTE, ECG, and Holter/Event monitor as assigned.
- Opportunity for research, education and service.
- Cover the cardiology inpatient service and general cardiology consults, a duty shared with other faculty members.
- Other duties as assigned

This position is eligible for our Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) which allows for up to $200K in loan repayment over a 5-year period.
