The Boeing Company seeks an Electrical Engineering and Mission Systems Manager to join our Phantom Works Space Technologies team in El Segundo, CA. In this dynamic, visionary role you will lead a multidisciplinary team of electrical, electronic, and systems engineers across the full engineering lifecycle-technology investment, concept development, proposal preparation, requirements definition, design, build, integration, test, and demonstration-driving the development and delivery of advanced space technologies and mission systems, including photonics and electro-optics capabilities. You will also collaborate closely with Space Technologies Integrated Product Teams to align technical strategy and execution. A key responsibility is building and developing the engineering team: you will forecast staffing needs, ensure proper resourcing, support recruiting and hiring efforts, and own career and talent development to equip incoming engineers with the skills and experience required to thrive in a rapidly evolving field. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

As a leader in this role, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). In addition, the applicant needs to have the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
