Family Medicine / Primary Care Physician
WVU Medicine Fairmont, Preston, & Morgantown (Student Health) West Virginia
WVU Medicine is seeking Family Medicine / Primary Care physicians to join its growing ambulatory practices serving Fairmont, Preston (Reedsville), and Morgantown (Student Health) . These are outpatient-only opportunities offering flexibility, strong compensation, minimal call, and optional teaching and research involvement.
Practice Highlights:
- Ambulatory Family Medicine / Primary Care
Full-scope FM (OB not required)
No inpatient responsibilities
- Adult medicine focus across sites
- Minimal, phone-only call -1 week per quarter
- Dedicated research support team with opportunities for publications, grants, and academic advancement
Compensation:
Total Compensation: Averages $300,000+ , easily achievable at 9 patients per half-day
Productivity Incentive - generate 7,000 9,000 wRVUs annually
Quality Incentive - 1% of base salary per metric (6 7 quality metrics available)
$20,000 $30,000 sign-on bonus
Training stipend available
$10,000 relocation stipend
- Quality improvement projects count toward CME
