Description: Position Overview One of our Partners in Washington is seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to provide 24-hour call-only locum tenens coverage for a one-week block due to a gap in coverage. This is a high-acuity inpatient assignment at a large regional medical center with trauma services.
Coverage Model: 24-hour call only (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Monday morning to Monday morning
Setting: Inpatient acute care hospital
Hospital Size: 400 beds
Trauma Level: Adult Level II / III / IV
Average Call Volume:
Provider Pay Ranking: Top 10% nationally for vascular surgery call coverage ( market data)
Assignment Highlights
Call-only vascular surgery coverage (no scheduled clinic or OR blocks)
High-acuity inpatient environment with trauma and emergency consults
Work alongside trauma, acute care surgery, general surgery, and other specialties
6 hours of gratis time included per 24-hour call day (must be reflected in presentations)
Washington license must be in hand at time of presentation

Job Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour vascular surgery call coverage
Respond to ED and inpatient consults
Perform emergency vascular and endovascular procedures
Manage inpatient rounding and admissions
Collaborate with trauma surgery, acute care surgery, and hospital teams
Document all care in EPIC EMR
Required Procedures & Clinical Scope
All general vascular and endovascular procedures
Emergency vascular interventions
Inpatient consults and operative management
Clinical Activity Requirement:
Applicants must submit a case list of at least 100 vascular procedures performed within the past 24 months, including:

Facility name
Skills & Experience
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
Active Washington medical license (required at submission)
Active DEA
Washington CSR required
Comfortable practicing in a high-acuity inpatient trauma environment
EPIC EMR experience required
