Description: Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Locums Job in Alabama Beginning April 1, 2026 Ongoing Assignment Coverage Details April 1 Ongoing Weekday clinic + call only; option to add weekend call or expand to full 24/7 schedule Credentialing timeframe: 45 days Shift Description Clinic hours: 8:00 am 4:30 pm, Monday Thursday 24-hour hospital call Monday Thursday Call Details 24-hour call, Monday Thursday Beeper call; 30-minute response time Requirements Board Eligible Fellowship required Alabama license or IMLC ACLS, BLS, PALS Laser Certification Required Procedures / Skills Low-risk and high-risk pregnancy FHR interpretation: NST / CST / FSE OB ultrasounds (performance + interpretation): Level I/Screening, Level II/Targeted Amniocentesis Routine delivery: Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for C-section Complicated deliveries: C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBACs Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor GYN procedures: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. Surgical gynecology: Open Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor (tubal ligation, LOAs, chromotubation) Operative/major GYN surgery (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs) Assignment Details Average 1 2 deliveries/day Required to perform scheduled and emergent C-sections and GYN surgeries Dedicated OR block time available PEDs Level: 1 Trauma Level: 3 No supervision required Clinic Coverage (Mon Thurs)
