Work Schedule Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and complex MRI exams, ensuring image quality and patient safety
Screen patients for contraindications, prepare and position patients, and administer IV contrast as needed
Operate MRI equipment and manage imaging data in PACS/EHR systems
Provide after-hours imaging support for ED and inpatient units
Train, assess, and support MRI staff competency and quality improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma/GED and completion of an accredited MRI technologist program
Experience: Minimum 2 years independently operating MRI equipment
Certification: Current ARRT MRI registration; BLS (AHA or ARC)
Security: Eligible to pass government background/security clearance
