Position Overview

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will deliver high-quality mental health services to active-duty military personnel and their families at Naval Health Clinic Lemoore. This role includes providing evaluations, therapy, consultations, and education while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations through interviews, testing, and collateral sources.


• Diagnose psychiatric conditions per the DSM and provide individual and group therapy.


• Support patients in rehabilitation and coping with illness or injury.


• Provide consultative behavioral health care within the Fleet Centered Medical Home Port (FCMP).


• Educate staff on PTSD, TBI, and other combat/non-combat related disorders.


• Deliver timely documentation and feedback to referring providers.


• Serve as an advisor in specialized areas of clinical psychology and participate in group medical appointments.


• Make recommendations for appropriate military duty dispositions.

Minimum Qualifications

• 
  Education: PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program + internship (waiver possible with approval)


• 
  Experience: At least 2 years within the last 3 years (or equivalent clinical competency)


• 
  License: Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state


• 
  Certifications: BLS


• 
  Security: Ability to pass government background check & obtain clearance
