Position: Otolaryngology - Pediatric Physician |
Description: Coverage Needed:
- January 5, 2025 - Ongoing
- Monday-Sunday, 12-hour (in clinic) shifts with night call as needed
- Estimated 10 shifts per month
- OR: 07:30-15:00 or 08:00- 17:00
- Clinic: 08:30-15:30
- On call duration of job. Call typically ends between 12a-6p in order to catch a flight
Clinical Details:
- Location: Coverage at our client's Pediatric ENT Clinic
- Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Site
- 15-20 patients per day
- Support Staff: Dedicated pediatric ENT team with two attending ENT surgeons and two experienced physician assistants
- EMR: EPIC
- Call: Night call responsibilities as needed
- Required Procedures: Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy, Myringotomy with vent tube insertion, Cauterization of the septum, Frenulectomy, Foreign body removal, Abscess drainage, Myringoplasty, Laryngoscopy
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Otolaryngology
- ACLS, BLS, PALS
- DEA
- CSR
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- State Licensure: Illinois (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license)
- IMLC candidates considered
