Description:
We are hiring a locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide weekend call coverage (1 2 weekends/month, Friday Sunday) - this is strictly beeper call!
Position Details:
Schedule: 1 2 weekends/month (Friday Sunday)
Call Type: Beeper call only
Start Date: 60 days (privileging required)
Privileging: 60 days from submission of RFA/application
Location: Texas
Requirements:
Active Texas license (IMLC not accepted)
ATLS certification Required
Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
Clean background No red flags (must pass privileging review)
Required Procedures:
General CV/CT surgery open (not endoscopic)
Coronary artery bypass surgery (on-pump and off-pump)
Aorto-femoral/iliac bypass procedures
Fem-pop bypass (preferred, not required)
Compensation and perks:
24hr flat rate: $2600/W2 and $3000/1099
Certification reimbursement
License reimbursement
Travel and accommodation reimbursement
$3000 referral bonus
