Description: Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and a commitment to excellence in the kitchen. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food production, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining food safety protocols. You will work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations. Assist in the management of food production, ensuring timely service during peak hours. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as necessary. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure. Leadership qualities with experience in supervising kitchen staff preferred. A passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality food experiences. Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain consistency in food preparation.
