The facility features modern technology including robotic surgical capabilities, a comprehensive urology department, and a collaborative medical team. The center is known for providing high-quality care in a supportive work environment with dedicated nursing and support staff.
Opportunity: Board Certified/Board Eligible - Urology
This is a full-time locum tenens opportunity for a general urologist to provide clinic coverage and call for 3-6 months or longer. The position requires a provider who can handle a wide variety of general urology cases, clinic responsibilities, rounding, and operating room procedures.
Job Details:
- Full-time position requiring 3-4 weeks per month coverage for a minimum of 3 months
- Clinic hours are 8am-4pm with night call (5pm-8am) and 24-hour call responsibilities on a 1:6 rotation
- Will serve as the sole provider in a fast-paced, busy department
- Patient volume of 20-25 patients per day in clinic
- Surgical volume of approximately 20-30 procedures per month
- Robotic surgical capabilities available on-site
- Procedures include cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsies, TURP, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, ESWL, Botox injections, and more
- Call responsibilities include both consults (20%) and callbacks (80%)
- Provider will be responsible for rounding on patients
- Epic EMR system is used throughout the facility
- Support staff includes 2 RNs, MA, Surgery Scheduler, and 2 front office staff
- Candidates should be collegial team players with excellent patient care and customer service skills
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
