Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Hamilton County Hospital, a critical access hospital in Syracuse, Kansas, is seeking a versatile and committed physician to join our close-knit medical team. This role offers a unique blend of responsibilities across the ER, inpatient care, nursing home services, and clinic duties in a community-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care in the Emergency Room, with an average of 2 patients per day.


• Manage inpatient care with an average daily census of 2 patients.


• Attend to approximately 6 patients per day in our outpatient clinic.


• Deliver compassionate care in our associated nursing home facility.

Flexible Scheduling:

• Collaborate with another physician who is adjusting hours due to family commitments.


• On-call requirements are highly flexible, with options ranging from 1 week per month up to 3 weeks per month, based on your preference and coordination with the team.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $400,000 annually, dependent on call responsibilities.


• Salary is base, with no quotas or additional pressures, emphasizing quality care over volume.

Start Date:

• Position available starting July.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.


• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or related field.


• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Kansas.
