NEW Day Shift Clinical Laboratory Technologist (MT) - Poughkeepsie, NY Area

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join a busy pathology laboratory team. This role plays a key part in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic information to support high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Process patient specimens as a bench technologist across Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and PCR testing

• Review and correlate patient history with laboratory results

• Perform, document, and troubleshoot quality control procedures

• Complete and document preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment

• Operate and maintain diagnostic instruments to ensure optimal performance

• Accurately enter and retrieve patient data within the electronic medical record

Requirements

• Current New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license

• 1 3 years of related laboratory experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment

• Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and staff

Compensation

• 
  $34 $42 per hour, based on experience
