Description: Work Dates Needed: Ongoing Preferred Schedule: M-F, 7a-7p, 7p-7a Worksite Setting: Inpatient, Level II Trauma Center, 42-bed ED including 5 fast track plus 5 monitored beds, 3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric, Comprehensive Stroke facility with bi-plane. Scope of Work: 61,000 annual patient visits in Main ED and 16,000 in Peds ED, 26% Admit rate, 24 hour inhouse Hospitalist and Intensivists. Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active FL License, ABEM only. EMR: Meditech, Pdoc and dragon dictation Additional Details an Emergency Medicine Physician will want to know about a position: Locum provider must be willing to provide coverage at affiliated FSER in Vero Beach with bulk of coverage at main hospital. They would like providers that can offer 10-15 shifts per month 70 hours total of physician coverage (main ED and Peds ED incl) 60 hours of APP coverage No floor code or consult responsibilities Several dedicated ED glide scopes and US machines Code ice facility with theraputic hypothermia capability Interventional cardiac cath facility
