Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Faculty Member | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Description: The Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine is searching for a full-time (100% FTE) faculty member in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor in the tenure track. This candidate will also serve as residency program director. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The annual starting base salary range for this position is from $250,000 $350,000 as well as an administrative supplement for serving as residency program director. CWRU considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. In addition to the faculty base salary, this position includes the opportunity to generate meaningful supplemental income through participation in the faculty practice plan. Responsibilities will include staffing of the resident and DMD clinic, didactic teaching of residents and dental students, surgical activities and on-call trauma service at our affiliated teaching hospital and GME home, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Participation in the faculty practice is expected and will be a significant source of supplemental income.
