Overview We are seeking a skilled ER RN for an immediate backfill at a Critical Care Access facility that handles diverse patient needs. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, managing an average patient census of 3 to 8, with staffing configurations that include RNs, LPNs, and aides. You'll be responsible for dividing patient loads effectively and providing compassionate care across all patient units. This position is ideal for adaptable, experienced nurses ready to deliver excellent service in a small but vital healthcare setting. The shift runs from 5 am to 5 pm, starting on 01/26/2026, with a pay rate of $53.60 per hour. Required Skills Valid RN license and current licensure BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (must have at time of assignment or scheduled prior) Minimum of 2 years of ER or critical care experience Proven ability to manage multiple patient assignments efficiently Strong communication and teamwork skills Proficiency with Cerner EMR system Ability to work effectively in a small, fast-paced environment Nice to Have Skills Prior experience in Med Surg and OB units Experience with crisis nursing or rapid response situations Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs Bilingual skills (preferred but not required) Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience in ER or critical care settings Experience in small hospital or critical access facilities Other Requirements Willingness to work all patient units including ER, Med Surg, and OB Ability to work a 12-hour shift from 5 am to 5 pm Must wear a mask during flu season unless declinated Availability for an interview upon request and flexibility in scheduling Valid certifications and compliance with all safety protocols This is an excellent opportunity to advance your nursing career in a supportive environment that prioritizes your professional growth and work-life balance.
