Family Medicine Locums in North Carolina - Weekdays Only
Primary care coverage in Wilson, North Carolina near Raleigh with full weekday hours and light call.
Highlights
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekends; call is phone-only and shared
- Long-term assignment due to provider retirement

Practice Setting
- Adult and geriatric long-term care facility
- On-site support includes pharmacy, psych, rehab, dental, and care teams
- EPIC EMR with Dragon dictation
- Mix of patients with psychiatric illness and dementia
Schedule
- Weekdays only - full-time, onsite
- Weeknight phone call 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM (shared among 4 MDs)
- Weekend call rotates 24-hour pager from home
Cases and Procedures
- Daily rounding, admissions, discharges, and care assessments
- Review labs, imaging, and med plans
- Participate in treatment meetings and family conferences
Requirements
- MD or DO with active North Carolina license
- BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- BLS and DEA required
- Geriatric or long-term care experience preferred
