Neonatologist Opportunity
Seeking a per diem Neonatologist to provide coverage in Wichita Falls, Texas. This opportunity involves caring for newborns in a Level II Special Care Nursery with plans to advance to a Level III NICU, within a community-focused hospital setting.
Dates & Schedule
Practice Setting & Responsibilities
Coverage of Level II NICU and newborn nursery
Care for infants 30 weeks gestational age and >1,250 grams
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including pediatricians, nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation services, and neonatal nutritionists
Provide comprehensive, family-centered care and support for parents during the NICU stay
Work in a state-of-the-art NICU with access to advanced technology

Full-service hospital offering emergency, surgical, maternity, pediatric, and specialty care
Designated Level II Special Care Nursery with ongoing efforts toward Level III NICU status
Requirements
Board Certified in Neonatology (Board Eligible not accepted)
Active Texas medical license
Minimum 6 months of recent specialty experience and clinically active within the past year
Clean background and malpractice history
Completion of prescreen questionnaire
CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
